House Rules

 

These rules are part of the rental agreement. They are not intended to interfere with the enjoyment of your holiday. They ensure that those who come after you will have just as pleasant a stay as you hopefully will. Therefore we hope you will understand that we, unfortunately, will have to charge you for any damages or costs incurred by non-observance of these rules.

 

Upon arrival the house will be handed over clean and without damages we are aware of. In case you notice any damage or other shortcomings, please contact our property manager at +34 666 135 516. Please record complaints or suggestions for improvement in the complaints book. This will be checked by our property management on a regular basis.

 

To make your holiday, as well as that of subsequent guests, as pleasant as possible, we would ask you to observe a few simple rules.

 

  • The entire house with all facilities is at your disposal. Please use it with care, and treat it as if it were your own. Think about the tenants who will spend their vacation in the house after you.

  • Pets are not allowed on the property.

  • Mishaps occur. If you cause any damage, please contact our property management, so that the damage can be repaired and broken items can be replaced immediately. Your personal liability insurance will cover such damages.

  • Please do not smoke in the house or in the conservatory. You will find windproof ashtrays in the conservatory.

  • Please do not sit on the furniture inside the house with wet swim suits/pants.

  • Please dispose of garbage regularly. In particular, decomposing meat and fruit waste will attract vermin that is present even in dry Andalucía. Bins for household and recyclable waste are in the garage. Please refer to the house information binder about where to find waste collection points.

  • Please do not throw tampons or sanitary napkins, as well as non-decomposing waste or leftovers into the toilets! This may cause blockages, and our sewer system is unable to break down inorganic waste or large amounts of fat. Only dry toilet paper can be disposed of in the toilets.

  • Please do not use cleaning products with bleach (Lejia). Bleach hampers the biological process in our sewer system.

  • Please use the air conditioning responsibly, and only when the windows are completely closed. Air conditioners consume lots of energy. The energy consumption included in the rental price covers a reasonable use of air conditioners for both cooling and heating. Please understand that we will have to charge you for consumption that exceeds 50 €/week.

  • Please do not take food or beverages into the pool! We recommend using the plastic cups provided in the pool area. Glass shards, especially in the pool itself, pose a great risk of injury.

  • The fireplace provides comfort in the living room on chilly days. Please use only dry wood. One basket per week is included in the rental fee. If you wish to use more, please help yourself at a price of 10 € per basket. Please inform our property management about the additional consumption at your departure. We appreciate your honesty!

  • Dispose of ashes from the fireplace only after these have completely cooled. In the garage you will find a metal bin for the ash. Please use this bin for ashes only!

  • You are welcome to help yourself to some fruit in the orchard. But please take only what you will consume, and avoid damaging the trees. This way other guests can enjoy the orchard as well. Be careful, since the citrus trees have very sharp thorns!

  • Please place the cover on the grill after use - but only after it has completely cooled down.

 

 

 

Prior to your departure

 

When you leave, the house should look the way it did upon arrival. Our property management will take care of the final cleaning. However, we’d appreciate if you put all used linen and towels in one place. This will ease the work for our cleaners.

In addition, please:

 

  • Discard all perishable foods. In particular, empty the refrigerator and the freezer and turn them off. Our property management will accept any food items still suitable to support the under privileged in the area.

  • Do any remaining dishes, clear out the dishwasher and put the dry dishes away.

  • Please clean the coffeemaker and the BBQ. Cleaning instructions can be found in the house information binder.

  • Dispose of your garbage at the garbage collection point.

  • Close all windows.

  • Turn off all electrical appliances.

  • Arrange a time with our property management for the handover of the house and the keys. A representative of our property management will check the property on your departure. Please remember to report any damage/deficiencies you may have noticed or provide improvement suggestions to him or her.
